On May 4th our dear friend Joey Rhude passed over the rainbow bridge🌈✨ After 2 years of an epic battle with cancer his body finally let go💫

It’s not auspicious at all that he chose to depart on May 4th🤩 He was that kind of character - always there to remind us that the force is with us… 

Joey has been not only my rainbow hummingbird friend, but that of many... showing up with gifts of delicious encouragement, art and a hug... always disappearing, rarely ever saying goodbye…

Joey will always be one of our greatest fans, fanning us on from the other side✨ The best thing I’ve found to do in times of grieving a loved one is to spend time with their spirit and paint their essence💫 This painting took months to complete as the lessons were deep and there seemed to be a mutual desire to have him be near during this time of transition.

I am releasing the first edition of prints as family a friends gather in Eden to celebrate Joeys deeply woven web of community and remember the goodness he left with each of us. May the love it ripple onward and multiply through every brushstrokes prayer as we continue to live each day with more gratitude and awe💫

I sense your ever expansive presence fractaled into the great sea of bliss - chuckling in that Joey-knowing-sparkly-eyed-grin ☺️ Oh the greatest adventure of all passing into the light of which we, as explorers of the mystery had dipped our toes into time and time again🌈 I know you are there swirling through the raindrops, the wind and beaming your epic warmth through the sun reminding me I’m right on track and when I’m not I will listen for the signs as I trust you will guide me💗
